I usually pride myself for being punctual, so today, I thought I’d analyse the situation a little more in depth. I took a moment to think about the actual reason why I’m punctual at work or college. Is it entirely because of the culture I belong to? Or, is it my upbringing?
While that does contribute to a certain extent, I believe that a DEADLINE is the actual reason that governs my punctuality trait.
No deadline -----> No Stress -----> No Output
What drives your punctuality at work/college? Do you rely on deadlines too? Do you wait till the last day to study for a test or work on an assignment only when the due date is near? OR, do you do your homework daily?
Honestly I always wait until the last minute to do assignments, study for tests, etc. I always try to plan ahead for such events as these, but then procrastination comes into play. Also, I don't like studying days before a test because there are so many other things going on, such as other classes, work, and family stuff. It's much easier for me to remember things by studying the day before or even the day of tests.
ReplyDeleteI always be punctual because my sense of responsibility to work/college. I rely on deadlines to decide how I should schedule my work. I always study for a test or work on an assignment ahead of the due date, because work at the last moment always gives me unsatisfactory result. I usually will do the homework once I have time.
